Senatorial Candidate Carly Fiorina Blasts Energy Policies. Republican U.S. Senate candidate who is a former Silicon Valley executive, has blasted Senator Barbara Boxer, (D) and other democrats for supporting energy policies Fiorina contends hurt business. Fiorina spoke at the CalPortland cement plant in Colton, California today (Feb.9, 2010) where most of their workers had to be laid off because of the Inland Empire’s business downturn. Fiorina said the cost of environmental and business regulations cost too much and speeded up the recent layoffs.

Editor’s Note: Could this be the beginning of the end of so many critical laws that are hard on the farmers of the San Joaquin valley that caused a drought and have left 60,000 jobless because of a two inch fish?  The state is losing many workers  who are searching for jobs. Many companies that are relocating in states where regulations are not so unfriendly to workers and business.
