Lt. General H.R McMaster, President Trump’s National Security Adviser, has resigned. Next
in line to replace him will be John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador for the U.S.
Mr. Bolton, who will take office April 9. has met often with Mr. Trump to discuss foreign
policy. He was on the short list to become a candidate for the new National Security Adviser.
He was in the West Wing with Mr. Trump to discuss the job on
John Bolton, who served as U.N. ambassador for parts of 2005 and 2006, will get an adviser
who experts consider will be more in favor of military intervention around the globe than McMaster is.
